The 27th of March is a very important day in the hearts of South Africans.It represents the power of our constitution as well as the memory of all those who fought for freedom.
Oliver Tambo, (1917-1993) exiled Politician and activist against apartheid and ANC president, arrives at Schiphol airport, on September 4, 1983. First Secretary General of the ANC, Oliver Tambo became President of African National Congress (ANC) in 1958 and re-electe in 1985 but banned by government, he lived abroad until 1990.
